The effects, the relative scales, the composition and the harmony of the music I am listening to while I am painting, not only influence my work, but also direct it...Life is an experience. Perceiving starts with touching and evolves towards dimensions where abstraction and ideas prevail. Where life starts being concerned about aesthetics and beauty, there art commences. In my apinion, "art" is another name for a with sentiments and talent amalgamated form of intelligence, which is capable of expressing feelings of despair and unhappiness next to sense of great beauty and emotions. In my paintings, in which every detail constitutes a new image, I express myself through an imagery, where dynamic and static compositions alternate each other, whilst de movements between the chosen colors, gradations and forms, create the basis for abstract interpretations.
