Nicola Dusi Gobbetti Gobbetti was born in Mantua in 1954: he makes his debut in the '70s as a sculptor and then as a painter under the guidance of his father Carlo Dusi, successful artist (Venice Biennale, 1948). In the course of his career he has gone from figurative to the most daring abstract experiments, taking part in numerous exhibitions and awards of national importance, being called to serve on juries for sculpture and painting and being acquired by some italian museums. In recent years he has worked mainly among the Abruzzi, Molise and the city of Rome, where he attracted the attention of the international public. His works are also part of private collections in Rome, Barcelona, Venice, Milan.1978: Awarded at the "Torre d’Ansperto" International Contemporary Art Award, Milan Press Room. Sassu and Kodra in the jury;1974: He receives the "Mario Gromo" prize, XI International Exhibition of Contemporary Painting in Santhia (TO), Italy.1975: Awarded at the "Gaudenzio Ferrari" award in Turin; in the same year, admitted to the Biennial of Contemporary Art in Bergamo and awarded at the International Art Competition "Brunelleschi". Portalupi and Breddo in the jury.1979: Selected for the " Lubiam Prize " in Mantua, where he receives the appreciation of E.Pignon.1981: Invited to the Second “Biennial of Religious Art " at the Diocesan Museum of Mantua;1989: "Natura Fluens”, exhibition at Palazzo Ducale in MantuaIn 1996 he was commissioned important works for the ancient church of St Egidio, in the historical center of Mantua, Italy.2011: Barcelona, Italian Culture Institute, "Cognitive Maps" exhibition. It opened the XI Week of Italian Language in the World.

Gentilissimi artisti, è con immenso piacere che vi informiamo dell’inizio del concorso nazionale “Pigmenti Erranti: le stagioni dell accoglienza” che come modesto tentativo ha quello di avvicinare l’arte a universi che potrebbero apparire troppo distanti da quello artistico, come il mondo degli spdc (Servizio psichiatrico di diagnosi e cura) e csm (centro di salute mentale) italiani.
