Pieter Zandvliet, Leiden 1969,A strong role in the works that I make, the multicultural society in which I grew up (Delfshaven). I've always found interesting how different cultures along with each other and sometimes life. The historical aspect of a culture, or the present day as I try to capture in my work. The most satisfied I am as a work like an old photograph a bit of the feeling of the time the photosphere shows have caught, and sometimes recognized. If I create a world where everyone is welcome, from what time is also when I just can deform my idea and / or shape.
